We pair our carefully crafted wines with art-labels by artists who have an affiliation with the renowned Walla Walla Foundry.
Our relationships with those artists afford us the opportunity to be creative with each vintage. This nexus is unique and particular to our location and to our specific time in history.
Winery owners, Mark Anderson and Squire Broel, have focused on creating an experience that expands the dialog about the creative processes inherent to the making of art and the crafting of wine. Anderson is the founder and director of Walla Walla Foundry. Broel is a painter and sculptor. They collaborate on the art side of the equation.
Winemaker, Ali Mayfield’s focus is on crafting small lots of premium wine that express and exhibit the terroir of the region as well as qualities inherent to the art that adorns each bottle. This intentional blending of the two practices creates opportunities for unique and memorable experiences.
There is a distinctive aesthetic to each aspect of the winery; from the art labels and the gallery-like tasting room to the urban feel of the adjacent contemporary sculpture garden.
Plan to visit us and enjoy artwork by internationally known artists like Deborah Butterfield, Jim Dine, and Tom Otterness while sipping wines paired to the experience.
