Fall Release 2011

Walla Walla Wineries Fall Release Weekend November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2011

Over 70 Walla Walla Valley Wineries

Open their Tasting Rooms in Celebration of their Fall Releases

Walla Walla, WA (October 10, 2011)– As fall settles into the Walla Walla Valley, a distinct change begins. The sunset-colored leaves scatter around the parks and sidewalks, and the nights start cooling off. A sense of merriment resonates throughout the Valley. The last of the grapes make their way off the vines, and the sorting tables and presses are put back into storage.

The fall months are a time for us to reflect on harvest, and the warmth of a job well done. We invite you to join us as we reconnect with neighbors and old friends. There is no better way to celebrate harvest than enjoying the fruits of summer’s labor. Autumn in Walla Walla is the ideal time and place to partake in the celebration.

Cellar doors are opening this time of year, and new releases are available for tasting. Mapping out a fun weekend adventure touring the wineries is a great fall tradition, and our Walla Walla Wine Country Map can assist in your planning. In addition, the Valley embraces the cooler weather with winemaker dinners, live music, art festivals and many more activities.

Walla Walla Fall Release Weekend is an exciting time to savor the refreshing, brisk fall in the Valley. It is the end of grape harvest, and the beginning of a new vintage.

The Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance encourages our local community to come out and support their wineries and winemakers.
